On the early morning of March 13, a young couple was awoken by what they thought was a burglary in progress. The boyfriend reached for his licensed gun and fired off a “warning shot” in hopes that he would scare the burglars off. The couple was then met with open fire from Louisville Metro Police Officers, letting off more than 20 rounds. The girlfriend was struck with at least 5 bullets leaving her to bleed out on her bedroom floor as her boyfriend watched. Her name was Breo
