Beyoncé is set to exclusively perform at the grand opening of the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai, UAE this Saturday, Jan. 21. Beyonce reportedly was paid $24M to perform for 1-hour for an elite group of about 1,500 VIP guests and celebrities who were invited. This will be her first onstage performance since singing at Kobe and Gianna Bryant's 2020 memorial.
Spread across six towers, the ultra-luxury resort will offer 795-rooms, 17-celebrity run restaurants and bars, and the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium when it opens to guests. The grand opening event w:ill take place from Jan. 20 to 22, 2023. Beyoncé's performance will start on Saturday at around 8:30 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. EST, 5:30 p.m. CET).
Ms. Tina was reportedly spotted at the hotel along with Jay Z accompanying Beyoncé. Celebrities' scheduled to attend have not been confirmed. The event will not be livestreamed according to reports but there are rumors that Atlantis The Royal may share footage on their website at a later date. Attending guests reportedly will be allowed to take videos.
Nearby residents could hear Beyoncé rehearsing her set this past Wednesday. Songs they reported hearing her rehearse were Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, Ave Maria, Drunk in Love, Halo, Freedom and Spirit.
