MOBIFest 2023 was a success! MOBIFest's Live event, which took place on Saturday, June 10th, showcased some of the "most talented, fearless, and driven" upcoming Black queer musicians they've seen.
Hosted by Kenneth Kyrell and Maria Van Cartier, the festival returned to the Music Hall of Williamsburg as its venue. Gaye Magazine had the pleasure to attend in person to witness the festivities!
As we previously reported, MOBI announced its lineup of Black queer artists which includes Siaira Shawn, The Dragon Sisters, Damez, FunkyReggaeHouseParty, Rodney Chrome, Elijah Boothe, Sedric Perry, Neverending Nina, Mylah Muse, Cakey Koutour, Chrystian Lehr, DJ DARJAR, TENZ, and Diva’s Live Drag performance set featuring drag stars: Alisha Day, Cici Nicole, Pryncess Carter, Cookie D’Lite, Tina Twirler, Harmonica Sunbeam, Dev Doee, Milan Garçon, and Jus Jahlisa.
