Brianna Hill Becomes the 4th Kansas Trans Woman Murdered, Suspect Waited for Arrest



Brianna "BB" Hill was killed in Kansas City, Missouri at 11:30 a.m. Monday near 43rd Street and Hardesty Avenue in eastern Kansas City. She was dead before authorities arrived.


Police Capt. Tim Hernandez told KCTV5 news that the suspect, whose name has yet to be released, waited at the scene to be arrested. There is no reported motive.


#BriannaHill is the fourth transgender killed in the city this year. Previous angels include Brooklyn Lindsay in June, Jamar Berryman in September, Tamara Dominguez who was killed near where Brianna was slain but in 2015 and Jasmine Collins who was also killed in 2015 according to pghlesbians.


Kansas City police are not currently looking for any more suspects at this time and information for a vigil is pending.
