Actor, model and CEO of Buttah Skin Dorión Renaud took to his Instagram Friday (Nov. 5) to announce he is now the "FIRST Black Founder in Cosmetics at Macys".

Dorión launched the Buttah Skin brand back in 2018 and has gained notoriety among men and women with "melanin-rich skin". The brand has even gotten a co-sign from the Queen herself, Beyoncé.

The brand recently launched a nationwide in-store campaign with the retailer giant Macys.

The 'In The Cut' star told Afro Tech that his entry into entrepreneurship was really a "beautiful surprise accident". What was originally an attempt to address personal hyperpigmentation issues eventually evolved into Dorión creating a formula he now shares with the world via his brand.

The brand offers a number of both skin and body products that are aimed at providing care for melanin-rich tones. The product line-up includes a rosewater toner, vitamin c serum, whipped body butter, mineral facial sunscreen SPF, facial shea butter and much more!

Dorión told Skincare.com, "I was inspired to start Buttah because it was needed. I felt African Americans and people of color were overlooked when it came to quality skin care. I couldn’t find a section for myself in high- end retailers and it was discouraging. I wanted to feel included and I wanted the same for my people as well."

Be sure to stop by your local Macy's and check out the products. Just in time for the Holiday season!

Buttah Skin is also available at Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, HSN and Bloomingdales.
