Isis King | With Love Season 2

Gayes we all watched with our eyes in 2008 when Isis King took her first strut across the runway in front of Tyra Banks, becoming the first-ever trans woman to compete on America’s Next Top Model. Now fast forward nearly fifteen years later, King finally comes out on top starring as Sol Perez in the second season of “With Love” on Amazon.

Already emotionally surpassing past projects like; "When They See Us", "Hello Forever" and "Strut"; King told Variety “I’m just happy to be able to play a character with no trauma.

Continuing to make LGBT history, King will continue showcasing the first trans romance in a holiday rom-com. Sol Perez will portray the main character’s nonbinary cousin who participates in a healthy relationship with a co-worker. The series features a fly-on-the-wall look inside siblings looking to find love.

Created by Gloria Calderón Kellett, she wanted "With Love" to be the fastest show brought to air. Kellett mentioned to Variety, “It’s embarrassing that it has taken so long for the trans community to be seen in this way. It’s a real honor for me and for Isis to be able to put this forth”.
