Janelle Monáe hosted an exclusively intimate murder mystery dinner experience at Rooftop L.O.A in Atlanta Friday (Dec. 9) for Netflix's upcoming film "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery".
In company with director/writer/producer Rian Johnson, Janelle Monae, waitstaff, and undercover actors wow' d guests over dinner with a thrilling mystery story to celebrate the life of "Darius".

Puzzle mystery boxes containing various heirlooms from "Darius" were sent as invitations prior to arrival. Gaye Magazine's Editor in Chief K. Keith had the honor of receiving a Del Mar handkerchief along with a personal invitation to the table from Netflix and Janelle Monae herself.

Celebrity guests in attendance included "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey, rapper Remy Ma and Atlanta radio host Ryan Cameron. Monae kicked off the evening with a toast and opening remarks, encouraging guests that the night should be a celebration rather than a sad memorial.

As the night progressed, each guest was asked to share memories of Darius before his passing. Some guests, or better yet - brilliantly played undercover actors, shared their theories of who in attendance may have wanted Darius dead.

Monae eventually received and read aloud Darius' autopsy report. Envelopes with cards inside from Darius were then passed around to guests, indicating whether or not Darius trusted them, if not they had to provide an alibi. The night ended in hysteria with the killer professing themselves at the table before being arrested.

The experience was definitely one for the books. It highlighted what creativity and passion truly looks like for a film's marketing rollout. Bravo!
