Lil Nas X Nominated for 'Entertainer of the Year' at the 53rd Annual NAACP Image Awards
Atlanta’s very own Grammy award winning rapper/songwriter Lil Nas X has been nominated for the “Entertainer of the Year” award at the 53rd annual NAACP Image Awards!
This award is the most prestigious award of the evening. Past winners include Lionel Richie, Beyoncé, and Steve Harvey. This year, Lil Nas X is nominated amongst Jennifer Hudson, Megan Thee Stallion, Regina King, and Tiffany Haddish.
Lil Nas X received two other NAACP nominations. One for “Outstanding Male Artist” and one for his hit song “Industry Baby” featuring Jack Harlow for “Outstanding Hip Hop/Rap Song”. Anthony Hamilton ultimately took the win for Outstanding Male Artist and Tobe Nwigwe won for ‘Outstanding Hip Hop/Rap Song’ for “Fye Fye” feat. Fat Nwigwe.
Though some of the categories received announcements for the winner early, the ‘Entertainer of the Year’ award is still up to grab for Lil Nas X.
