Openly Gay Singer, Aaron Thomas, Signs Record Deal with EOne

Congratulations to Aaron Thomas for signing a record deal with Eone/TwentyTwo Recordings. The Philly native, 28-year-old singer/rapper has been performing since the age of 4. He's been in American Idol, BET Sunday Best, Showtime at the Apollo and The Dorinda Show, so if you don't know him - you're late.

Aaron Thomas is a singer, songwriter, music producer and engineer. He is the first LGBT artist to score on Billboard and #4 R&B/Soul independent album on the iTunes Charts. His album "Mine Games." is dedicated to the LGBT community.

"I’ve been going hard independently for the past 5 years. I’m excited to finally be signed to a record label that allows me to have full creative freedom," Aaron said in a exclusive statement to Gaye Magazine.

"I was previously signed to two major labels where they tried to alter my sound and change my image a lot. I made this choice to sign with TwentyTwo Records/EOne because I strongly believe they have my best interest and the right resources to take me to the next level. Their artist roster includes some of my favorite artist Brandy, Lil Kim, and Musiq Soulchild. Being signed creates more opportunity to get in front of more eyes, but the grind doesn’t get easy. Got to go 1000 times harder. I’m excited for this partnership, and I can’t wait to show the world what I have in store."
