24-year-old Lynette Swain, sister of Pose actor Ryan Jamaal Swain died on Tuesday. According to Birmingham Real Time News, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Raven Lynette Swain.
Swain was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of her vehicle when South Precinct officers responded at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday to Underwood Park in the 1100 block of 26th Street South. Birmingham Sgt. Rod Mauldin said when officers arrived at the park, they found Swain in her vehicle that was lodged in the foliage. She was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:48 p.m. Evidence in the park and parking lot indicated multiple gunshots were fired.
“We don’t know if this took place somewhere else and her vehicle came to a stop here or if it happened here,‘' Mauldin said. “We are working hard but we need people to come forward with information.
Jamaal took to Instagram to remember her.
Jamaal, who plays Damon on the groundbreaking show "Pose", remembers his little sister as a "beautiful soul taken too soon."
"We will praise every moment of life that we were blessed to share with her. We will seek justice and for the authorities to find who is responsible for this unspeakable act of violence."

Jamaal has asked for respect of his privacy and his family's privacy during this time.
