R-Rated Lesbian Comedy ‘Bottoms’ Drops Trailer, Stars Ayo Edebiri, Rachel Sennott & Punkie Johnson

Mark your calendars Gayes! The first official trailer for the upcoming R-rated teen queer comedy 'Bottoms' has been released! Co-stars Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) and Rachel Sennott (The Idol) play unpopular, gay teens, Josie and PJ respectively, who form a fight club in hopes to impress and hook up with their cheerleader crushes before graduation. The cast also features Punkie Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, and Miles Fowler.

Directed by Emma Seligman, ‘Bottoms’ first premiered at the 2023 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival on March 11th. Since its debut, the film has been met with critical acclaim and praise for its satirical humor and ensemble cast.

This is not the first time Edebiri and Sennott have worked together as a comedic duo. In 2020, the pair co-starred in 'Ayo and Rachel Are Single', a mini series focusing on the dating lives of their fictionalized counterparts.

With two queer female leads at the center, ‘Bottoms’ is a modern pioneer in the high school comedy genre making it a must see summer flick!
