Black LGBT-Owned Company CR8 Agency Wins 'Agency of the Year' at 2021 Black Media Honors

As Atlanta Black Gay Pride approaches, Gaye Magazine is highlighting successful Black LGBT-owned companies, music artists, and entrepreneurs making impactful strides within the community. Gaye is proud to shed a Feature Spotlight to celebrity publicist Vaughn Alvarez, founder and CEO of Cr8 Agency.


Vaughn Alvarez, 31, is well known for his work within the LGBTQ+ community and has worked with numerous celebrity icons and public figures such as Brandy, Da Brat, Lemuel Plummer, Tasha Smith and Amiyah Scott to name a few.


Established in 2015, CR8 Agency (“create agency”) is a multi-cultural strategic public relations and marketing agency. Cr8 Agency's team members Avian Watson, Kri Peck, DeVonte Teasley and Yannell Baker specialize in connecting consumers with brands and talent through live experiences, virtual content, in-person press appearances, social media, and community outreach.


Atlanta-based media company Empower Media Group (EMG) held the 2021 Black Media Honors™️ on Sunday, August 22. The annual awards honors broadcasting, public relations, media, mass communication and journalism icons who have influenced and made significant contributions to the media industry. Celebrated strategic public-relations agency, CR8 Agency, was awarded "Agency of The Year" at the inaugural event.

The Black Media Honors, slated to air on FOX SOUL was hosted by Actress Brely Evans and Pastor Anthony Murray.
