Todrick Hall's LA Home Robbed of $50K Worth of Items, "Be Careful Who You Let in Your Close Circle"

Singer, choreographer and YouTuber Todrick Hall told LAPD on Saturday (July 3) that he was the victim of a home burglary while he was away in London. Law enforcement officers received a report that thieves broke into Hall's home by smashing a back window to gain entry and stealing $50,000 worth of handbags and valuables, according to TMZ. Reportedly one of Todrick's friends came home to discover the break-in.

Todrick took to Instagram yesterday (July 4th) to provide an update to his fans that he had "just landed back in America" from London and that he is "ok and unharmed".

"Just landed back in America to hundreds of messages and calls from my family and friends. I am ok and unharmed. I’m devastated that someone would do this to me, and even more disturbed to see people celebrating and laughing about it online. This happened less than an hour after my cat sitter left my home, and I’m just happy that my cats have all been found and are safe."

Todrick concluded his post with a decision to take a break from social media, while providing insight that one of his close friends may be the cause of the burglary.

"I’m taking a break from social media for a few days to wrap my head around this and get my mind together. Be careful who you let in your close circle. They really will put your life and their life on the line just to steal a Louis/Gucci bag. Sad."

Gaye previously reported in February that Hall purchased his dream home in Los Angeles and provided his fans with an exclusive tour on his YouTube channel.

In the video he showcases his modern LA pad, which features a seamless indoor-outdoor living space with an elevator, a butler’s kitchen, a glass dew drop chandelier, movie theater, a his and his toilet, a spacious walk-in closet, a see-through container pool alongside a jacuzzi and fireplace, and a rooftop view of LA’s mountainsides.

Towards the end of his tour Todrick graciously thanked his supporters.

“Thank you so much. You have no idea what it means for me as a gay black man in 2021 to be able to own not just a home but my dream home.”
