On March 31st, Ariana Grande took to Instagram to inform her followers that she had started a donation page with Pledge that would raise funds for a myriad of organizations that would help "Protect & Defend Trans youth". This was brought on by the unfortunate onslaught of anti-trans bills circulating in the senate, targeting trans youth's right to safe-spaces and sex education.
Grande promised that once the page reached the sum of $1.5 million that she would match the donations. As of today (May 5) the page has over $1 million in donations, and rising every second.
