The GayVN Awards, sometimes referred to as the Oscars of Gay Porn, is rapidly approaching, and we’re excited for another year to celebrate and recognize adult film stars.
The GayVN Awards Show has been around since 1998, and has been held in celebration of outstanding achievements in the gay adult entertainment industry. The GayVN Awards are the sister show to the famous AVN Awards Show and honors the best that the industry has to offer. With so many different categories and entertaining personalities, it’s bound to be an eventful night!
One category in particular that I think we can all appreciate is the award for “Favorite Butt”. There are so many bootyful booties to admire in the adult film industry and one in particular is giving the other nominees a run for their money.
Adult film star, JD Daniels is one of the nominees for Favorite Butt, and he’s definitely gunning for that number one spot! Daniels says he "Loves being an entertainer, who happens to be a good old-fashioned southern educated country boy from Georgia. Never forgot [nor will I ever] forget my country roots. Love to travel, work out, and most of all spending quality time with my soul mate, the love of my life, and husband T Willcox".
When asked about his reaction to being nominated, he stated:
"What a total shock this is for me (being [a] Total Top performer in the adult entertainment industry of 20 plus years) to be up for a GayVN nomination for "Favorite Butt". The nomination, I can say with full pride and confidence, was a major wake up call that fans enjoy me as a top, but lust my butt as well. I'm flattered, but honored at the same time that fans enjoy my butt to point of nomination for GayVN. Who would have ever thought, right?
Winning the award itself would have so many elements. One of them being It'll be a HUGE victory for me that I have not only paid my dues of 20 years to get where I'm currently at of success in the industry as a performer, but have brought a lot pleasure and joy to my fans who enjoy my films.
Being nominated alone is already an honor that's brought me happiness and a gift of accomplishment from GAYVN and my fans. Winning the award would be a mind blowing experience that words can't describe. It is that great of a feeling of excitement you feel throughout not only your body, but your soul.
[I] wanna thank all my fans along with GayVN for the opportunity, honor and privilege of being nominated for such a prestigious award that's the "Gay Oscars Of Porn". When you gained a nomination or the award or both - you know you've rightfully and deservedly made your place in this industry for your talent.
