Justin O' Brien, known as the gay porn star Dustin Gold, was fired from his adult entertainment job at Helix Studios this past Tuesday after a viral video shows him using racist slurs in NYC traffic. Helix Studios now refuses to work with him.
The video was brought to the public on Twitter by NYC City Council candidate Anthony Beckford on Sunday. Since then, influencers like blogger Perez Hilton and actress/singer Joely Fisher reshared the video on Instagram to over 800K followers.
In the 1 minute and 12 second video a pedestrian records Dustin Gold in NYC traffic where cars are seen backed up, he proceeds to get out of his car and yell, "It would be smart to get out of the middle of the street a-hole, f-ing N*gger."
Initialliy, he was not aware of the recording, but when he was told the video will be uploaded he replied, "I'll just get fans honey, that's what I do." The video then ended in a physical altercation.
The NYC City Council candidate Anthony Beckford asked social media for immediate assistance to hold Gold accountable.
"Racist on the Upper East Side. Find out who this racist person is and let us hold them accountable. This and any other act of racism will NOT be tolerated. As City Council Member of #District45, I will be holding these racists accountable". Anthony Beckford Via Twitter
Dustin Gold has worked for the adult entertainment company Helix Studios since 2014, but hasn't recently been in any films. Dustin Gold has not responded to the video or Helix Studios as of today.
