Gayes! Friday, June 20th, the Vision Community Foundation is bringing out all our faves for their 13th annual flagship Black Tie event—now revamped as the Cold As Ice Fashion Show and Awards Soiree, all happening during the national iElevate Conference in Atlanta.

B-Boy Blues star Thomas Mackie, ballroom icon Jack Mizrahi, and entrepreneur/content creator Raeshanda Lias are teaming up to host the night, while TS Madison and singer Cameron Wright are set to make special appearances.

Attendees dressed in their all-white, western couture inspired looks can expect a glamorous evening of fashion, culture, and community impact as leaders in media, ministry, and activism are honored for their trailblazing work.

This year’s honorees include Terrell Carter, NAESM Inc., Darian Aaron, Nik Harris, and Toni Newman, with a special tribute planned for MD Jeremy Erwin.

The Cold As Ice Fashion Show and Soiree adds to the momentum of the iElevate Conference, a dynamic multi-day event focused on ministry leadership, entrepreneurship, mental health education, and LGBTQ+ advocacy. Guests will have access to immersive workshops, musical showcases, spiritual development sessions, bustling vendor marketplaces, and a continued focus on the Foundation’s HIV awareness initiative, “Prevention From the Pulpit.”

This event is all part of the Vision Community Foundation’s larger mission: to empower LGBTQ+ individuals and families, especially in the Black community, through outreach, education, and advocacy. Headquartered in Atlanta, the Foundation provides a range of services, from faith-based leadership training to youth development programs to health initiatives for women, trans individuals, and seniors. And at its core, the organization exists to close gaps and build bridges to holistic wellness in our communities.

As Pride Month continues against the backdrop of rising anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and ongoing threats to critical health programs, including recent proposed cuts to HIV prevention funding, the iElevate Conference and Cold As Ice Fashion Show and Awards Soiree stand as both a sanctuary and act of resistance.

By honoring our community leaders and keeping critical conversations around health and equity front and center, The Vision Community Foundation is showing up for our people on our terms.

Whether you come for the fashion or the restoration, this year’s soiree will be unforgettable. Tickets are still available, and registration for the full iElevate conference can be found at iElevate.org.
