Lil Nas X just can’t be stopped! As if breaking the record for the longest running No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list wasn’t enough— the “Old Town Road” rapper will be making his TV debut in the new episode of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder titled “Old Towne Road.”
With the recent reboot of the already popular TV show, we’re sure Lil Nas X’s cameo will be the icing on the cake!
The episode follows the Proud family as they travel to Oklahoma to learn more about Suga Mama's upbringing. A sneak peek of the upcoming episode shows Bobby Proud stumbling upon a country group performing and asks if he can join.
Lil Nas X’s character, June Bug welcomes Bobby until he tries to play the guitar. June Bug then tells him he’s the only guitar-player in the band, and hands Bobby a washboard.
The band then starts to collectively play Lil Nas’ smash hit, “Old Town Road.”
It looks like “Old Town Road” is the gift that just keeps giving! Congratulations to Lil Nas X for continuously breaking barriers and opening doors.
