He posted on Twitter, "It’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant. I apologize to the LGBTQ kommunity for ever komin across like I was anything but respectful and accepting. Live. Love. Ya Life. Gang!”
Though encouraging tweets of acceptance for his apology flooded into the comment section, there was a little hidden gem of uncertainty being stirred up as well. It is being remarked that this tweet originated from his unknown relationship status with Kehlani due to her fluid sexual orientation.
During his relationship with Kehlani he was caught red-handed in another woman's cookie jar at a night club in Los Angeles. Defeated by the uncontrollable taste of alcohol, he was found locking lips with another young woman, which created a world of trouble for their relationship. Despite the infidelity, the relationship seemed to hold its merits from a media standpoint.
Soon following, a suspicious leaked song by Kehlani released titled, "You Know Wassup." The lyrics included "Your still my love", "Your still my heart", and more, alluding that a break up wasn't anyplace in the equation.
As days go by breaking news stirs as a tweet recently deleted issued a hint that the two were officially done. While one could say that with YG's broken heart his tweet came from the heart with the intent to blossom a dead relationship. We understand why many twitter fans are a little hesitant about believing if his tweet was truly sincere or just a cry for attention from his past lover Kehlani.
No one can say for sure as to the reasoning behind his actions for releasing this tweet. Only time can tell if this was a legitimate act of sincerity for ending the year with a clean slate to those you have wronged. On the other hand, he could be going into the year with the hope to reawaken a love whose fire has seemed to burn out.
