BET Networks (Black Entertainment Television) is reportedly scheduled to air a commercial tonight during the 2021 #BETHipHopAwards from their new social series franchise “Queer As F**k”.
Angel Haze, Mykki Blanco, Kidd Kenn, Saucy Santana, Fly Young Red and Cakes da Killa have been featured to weigh in on how LGBTQ+ artists and queerness have influenced hip-hop culture.
BET announced their new program “Queer AF” back in 2019, in which they aim to provide a platform to encourage dialogue and create a space to amplify LGBTQ stories.
Queer AF was added to BET’s original programming lineup in order to highlight the multifaceted complexities of the Black queer community.
