Following the success of his hit YouTube talk show, House Guest, TV personality Scott Evans is expanding the franchise with a new spinoff, House Guest Game Night.

That’s right: the nine-time Emmy Award-nominated television host, producer and media personality is adding more to his House Guest plate and enlisting some of his famous pals to break bread with him in the process. “Some of the best conversations happen when people stop performing and simply start having fun,” Evans said.

“That’s exactly what House Guest Game Night is about. It’s a chance to connect, laugh, compete and get to know people beyond the headlines.”

The series, which is set to hit Evans’ YouTube channel on Sept. 10, will feature Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, Leslie Jones, Lil Rel Howery, Bresha Webb, Kendrick Sampson and more during its inaugural season.

In addition to the aforementioned guests, the season will feature a bevy of artists, athletes, creators and more who will come together for an evening filled with competition, unexpected challenges, conversation and joy.

The show’s format will differ from its predecessor by letting audiences see a different side of some of their favorite personalities. The games are primarily spontaneous and playful, fostering moments of sincere, raw connection.

This, of course, isn’t Evans’ first original show on his channel. Over the years, he has shared a wide array of content, including Poolside Sessions, where he helped emerging artists showcase their music.

In June 2024, he struck gold with the launch of his highly successful talk show-style series, House Guest, where he has interviewed an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, including Keke Palmer, Bob the Drag Queen, Kamala Harris, Niecy Nash-Betts and more.

The series has earned praise from both fans and critics, including a Webby Award for Interview, Talk & After-Show, Series & Channels (Video & Film), as well as NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Host.

For Evans, the House Guest franchise is more than a show; it is a vehicle for expanding his creative self-expression and developing engaging entertainment formats that give audiences a deeper connection to some of their favorite media personalities beyond traditional, formulaic interviews and headlines.

If you’re worried the spinoff means less time with the original show, don’t fret: Evans will continue premiering new episodes of House Guest, with House Guest Game Night taking over on alternating weeks.

Evans is a consummate multimedia personality who first came to audiences’ screens as an anchor for the Peabody Award-winning Channel One News. Since then, he has established himself as a versatile on-air talent, hosting and contributing to programs including Access Hollywood, Access Daily, World of Dance, America’s Big Deal, Couple to Throuple and more.

In November 2021, Evans expanded his relationship with NBCUniversal, signing an overall talent and development deal with the company. The agreement highlighted NBCUniversal’s commitment to helping Evans build a larger presence across its portfolio of platforms and brands.

“Scott is an amazing talent, and we are deeply committed to expanding his already impressive footprint across our platforms,” said Tomii Crump, head of unscripted casting and talent at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

“He’s the consummate host and journalist, and this deal will allow him to work in spaces that align with his passions. We love having Scott as part of the NBCU family and look forward to our continued collaboration.”
