As we gear up for the 2026 Baltimore Trans Pride this weekend, June 13-14, at the iconic Druid Hill Park, we’ve got an exciting lineup of events designed to celebrate our dolls and have a little fun along the way.
Started in 2022 by Iya Dammons as part of Baltimore Safe Haven, Baltimore Trans Pride is one of the largest festivals in the country, curated to celebrate the beauty of being both Black and trans. Now celebrating its fourth anniversary, this year’s event carries the theme “Existence Is Resistance.”
At a time when the lives of our trans siblings, particularly trans women, are under constant scrutiny and attack for simply existing, this year marks a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, where joy becomes an act of resistance against bigotry.
The two-day slate of events will include performances by musicians, such as Aakosha Bentley, Bad Dolly, and HoodFish. Attendees are in for a treat as reality television star and performer Pariz Motton is gearing up to bring some of our faves on stage during his set, including Diamond the Body and rising rapper Trim who is set to perform three highly-anticipated songs.
We wouldn’t be Gaye Magazine if we didn’t give you the tea about the excitement happening this weekend:
