The excitement surrounding Disney’s upcoming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen has taken an unexpected turn after Kiely Williams’ mother publicly criticized her daughter’s former castmates, accusing them of intentionally leaving Williams out of the highly anticipated reboot.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Williams’ mother did not hold back as she called out original Cheetah Girls stars Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, and Sabrina Bryan.
“Raven and Adrienne are truly hateful bitches. They are also 2 faced and liars. Sabrina will always be a ‘pick me,'” she wrote.
“Kiely was the easy person to villainize since the 3LW so here we are. I believe in karma. They will get what is due. They will have earned it.”

Williams, who portrayed Aqua Walker in the beloved Disney Channel films, has not publicly responded to her mother’s remarks.
As we previously reported, Raven-Symoné recently revealed she was in South Africa filming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen, sharing behind-the-scenes updates on Instagram before Disney officially announced the project.
The new film marks the latest chapter in the beloved franchise, with Raven-Symoné reprising her iconic role as Galleria Garibaldi. This time, however, the story centers on Galleria’s daughter, Faith, played by Leah Sava Jeffries.
Notably absent from Disney’s cast announcement was Kiely Williams, whose portrayal of Aqua helped define the original quartet alongside Raven-Symoné, Bailon, and Bryan. While Disney has not commented on Williams’ absence, her mother’s accusations have fueled renewed conversation among fans about the group’s well-documented history.
The original Cheetah Girls lineup has experienced public friction over the years, dating back to the group’s success in the mid-2000s. Past interviews have alluded to disagreements behind the scenes, though the cast has occasionally reunited for nostalgic moments and reflected on the franchise’s lasting cultural impact.

Directed by Bille Woodruff, The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen follows Faith and her three best friends as they travel to an African nature reserve, where they embark on a journey of self-discovery, deepen their friendship, and embrace the Cheetah spirit as the next generation of performers.
Symoné won’t be the only familiar face returning.
Adrienne Bailon is set to reprise her fan-favorite role as Chanel Simmons, and Sabrina Bryan will return as Dorinda Thomas. Also returning are Lynn Whitfield as Mama Cheetah, Dorothea Garibaldi, and Lori Alter as Juanita.
Behind the scenes, original executive producer Debra Martin Chase is returning to oversee the franchise’s next chapter. Raven-Symoné will also serve as an executive producer, while director Bailoon and Bille Woodruff are attached as a co-producer. The screenplay is written by Kara Holden, Sarah Watson, and Deborah Swisher.
For now, neither Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan, nor Disney have publicly addressed the allegations made by Williams’ mother.
