Lo Colby made history Friday night in Pattaya, Thailand, becoming Miss International Queen 2026 at the pageant’s 20th anniversary crowning finale at Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Theater. The Hawaiian-born American titleholder impressed judges with her commanding presence, intellect, talent and vision and will now step into her new role as a global ambassador for transgender equality at a moment when that platform has never mattered more.
Founded and organized by Tiffany’s Show Pattaya, Miss International Queen has spent two decades building a space the rest of mainstream fashion and entertainment world is still catching up to: a world-class stage for transgender women to showcase themselves and the beauty, grace and poise they bring to the world.
Twenty-seven delegates from 27 countries competed this year under the theme “The Evolving Legacy: Empower Every Voice,” each one bringing a perspective, a story and a standard of excellence that the pageant has always demanded.
The evening opened with a performance titled “Beautiful People,” headlined by Midori Monét, Miss International Queen 2025, alongside performers from Tiffany’s Show Pattaya a celebration of beauty, self-confidence and authenticity that set the tone for what followed. The emotional peak of the night came during the coronation ceremony, when former Miss International Queen titleholders from across two decades reunited on stage to welcome the new queen. It was a moment that felt less like a pageant tradition and more like a generational handoff — sisterhood made visible, legacy made tangible.
Colby was joined on the final stage by first runner-up Teerachaya Pimkitidaj of Thailand and second runner-up Saki Iwai of Japan. Special awards honored the breadth of talent across the competition: Iwai also took home Best National Costume, while Pimkitidaj earned Miss Photogenic. Daniela Marquina of Venezuela was named Best in Evening Gown. Colby swept the evening further with Best Social Media Influencer, presented by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and The Future of Beauty, presented by Wansiri Hospital.
The crown named “The Reborn Crown” handcrafted by God Diamonds — was designed in the shape of a butterfly, symbolizing freedom, transformation and the metamorphic renewal that defines so many transgender women’s journeys. Diamonds for inner strength. Pearls for wisdom earned through experience. It is a crown that was clearly designed to mean something.
The official Miss International Queen YouTube channel recorded 1.9 million views overnight, with content across the National Licensee network in Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United States and Mexico generating more than 50 million additional views throughout the competition. The world was watching — and not just as spectators.
What Miss International Queen has built over 20 years is a blueprint for what visibility with purpose looks like. A stage built from the ground up to amplify transgender women’s voices, honor their identities and drive real societal change. Lo Colby now carries that mission forward and if Pattaya Friday night was any indication, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the next 20 years. However, were sure it be fit for queen.
